WEBINAR | Future-proofing: Next Steps | Legal Q&A: Ask Us Anything | April, 24
24 April 2020
Michelle Correia is joined by Bellevue Law founder Florence Brocklesby and senior technology expert, Ed Boal to answer more of your COVID-19 related questions.
During part one the panel discussed the things you may need to start thinking about to future-proof your business and ensure it has the best chance of thriving in the ‘new normal’. These topics included, commercial contracts, technology and preparing for potential redundancies. We’ve prepared a technology supplier checklist based on these discussions that can be downloaded here.
Part two consisted of our usual open Q&A where the panel answered the following questions:
When bringing employees off of furlough, is it advisable to create a side letter similar to that entered into at the outset of the furlough? 43:45
Can contracts be signed electronically? 51:04
We have an employee who is pregnant. Is there any specific support we should be giving them at this time? 57:08
What are your thoughts on giving independent legal advice by video conference to new clients? 58:20
