Laura joined the team in 2018 as our Practice Manager, after several years in a Head Office Manager role for a regional property firm. Her experience in managing teams, finance and administration enabled her to develop the systems and processes to support the business during a period of rapid growth, development and change.
After a few years of supporting our business in a variety of roles covering HR, IT, compliance, bookkeeping and general office management, Laura was promoted to Head of Operations and became a valued member of our senior leadership team in 2021.
During her time at SLHQ, Laura has successfully achieved an Associate Legal Practice Management certificate - a course which has deepened her in-depth knowledge of her role. This course focused on 11 modules from leadership to project management and client care to professional conduct rules. Laura is brilliant at putting processes in place to ensure everything runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis (particularly from an HR perspective) and is currently studying her CIPD Level 5 Diploma in People Management.
