Meet the Flockers: Viktorija Basmakova

February 17, 2022

Our Meet The Flockers series gives us a chance to show the humans behind Stephenson Law. We stop, take a moment, and spend some time on the sillier side of life.

From favourite films to secret gifts,  this series sheds a light on what makes our flock tick. Introducing Viktorija Basmakova, double-degree finance talent, and multi-linguist. Take it away Viktorija…

What was your favourite age of growing up

It would be between 6- 8 when I spent a lot of time with my grandparents. We were doing lots of activities together- cooking, shopping, fishing, watching Fox Kids- Life with Louie. Lots of fun!

I also enjoy my time now and I feel grateful to have my family and friends and my great grandad who is 103 this year.

What’s your favourite season and why?

Each season has its own beauty, but I would pick spring. In spring the nature is so beautiful, trees are blooming, days are longer, sun is shining - it’s just so perfect. In spring I feel like a bear who just woke up after hibernation!

Would you rather cook or order in?

I like cooking, but I wouldn’t spend too much time in the kitchen. I tried to make Thai and Japanese food, but unfortunately, it’s not the same, so sometimes I order this. The answer to this question, however, I'd cook.

Would you rather be a pet goldfish or a wild lizard?

If I had to choose between pet goldfish and wild lizard, it would be a wild lizard because I wouldn’t want to sit in the aquarium and wait until I get some food!

Apart from Antarctica, there are no continents that are not home to some species of lizard. Also they like sunshine – without it they are not able to survive for very long. So lizards definitely look more like me!
