I love the Sound of Music. It just has wonderful memories of my Nanna and I watching it during the summer holidays. I watched it so much that the VHS tape was initially in colour and went black and white from my constant rewinding. It’s a classic and who doesn’t love Julie Andrews? It also has a lovely message of treating each other with kindness and patience – which is so relevant in the world we are living in right now.
Being late – if you are on time you are late! And a sofa with unplumped cushions. I cannot walk away from my sofa with all the cushions laying around all over the place. My poor fiancé gets tormented by my constant plumping of the cushions and its gets bad when I start plumping my family and friends cushions when I pop round for a cuppa. Same goes for an unmade bed. When my fiancé and I first moved in together I had to train him to make the bed before he left the house (who leaves the house with an unmade bed?!) – or face my wrath! And the bed is covered in pillows – poor guy!
I would probably be Elasitgirl from The Incredibles. She is a kick ass, force of nature and can juggle many things at the same time. I love that!
I would travel the world. I love travel and I wish I had more time and dosh to do more of it (and no Covid would be helpful) . My life would be a constant journey to see and experience everything the world has to offer – and of course eat my way around the globe whilst on my travels. We had planned an epic honeymoon to Vietnam for Covid ruined our plans. We are hoping to get to Greece and Amsterdam next year (I do an annual trip the Dam for birthday – I love it!). And Japan the year after! Dying to visit Japan! Hopefully we get to Vietnam in the future and many more other destinations.
