International Women’s Day is a celebration of the world’s industry-busting, history-making, tradition-defying women. In short, it’s a reminder that while there is a long way to go to achieve gender equality, we‘re getting closer every day.
We are delighted to announce that our CEO and Founder Alice Stephenson has been awarded the Women in Innovation Award 2021, sitting amongst 39 other female innovators making history in their field.
Launched in 2016 by Innovate UK, the Women in Innovation award was set up to engage, develop, and support the history-making women of today.
The Women in Innovation award is a project that has outdone itself in scope, standard, and social benefit The campaign provides financial support, mentoring and business growth opportunities for women leading the way on today’s innovations.
A female founder who rejects societal norms, challenges traditions, and faces her industry with creativity: innovation encapsulates Alice, and has made its way into the SLHQ fabric.
